Soccer
Soccer Season has started in the Butler home! Two weeks ago the girls started practice with their dad as the coach. This past Saturday was their first game. They couldn't wait to take the field. There are only 7 girls to a team, and 5 play at a time, so there's a lot of game time and running. They all got pretty tired out early on, but hung in there and didn't do too badly for the first time. We lost, but had some pretty close goals. Definitely some things to work on at the next practice, but they were quick learners and are doing fine. They're looking forward to the next game!
First Day of School
Here are the girls on their first days of school! The twins have been back a few weeks now. They're enjoying the second grade. Sounds like things are running smoothly. Amelia began preschool last Wendesday. She was thrilled to finally start and be like her big sisters. Each room of children is named after a color bear, so she is officially a "Red Bear." Tomorrow she gets to be the "Busy Bear" which is like the classroom leader. She's very excited for that. Seems as if Mia has made the adjustment to preschool just fine.
