Summer Sun for a 6th Birthday!
Lauren and Katie were summer lovin' this birthday. After desperate pleading we finally agreed to a Beach Birthday Party with their friends. It worked great -- had the party in the fellowship hall at school when the Kindergarten was dismissed at noon. Brought them lunch from McD's followed by a rip roaring game of "Limbo" and "Seahorse, Seahorse, Mermaid" (aka Duck, Duck, Goose). We made a beach theme mobile for a craft. Finally we sang "Happy Birthday" and enjoyed some "Beach Bum Teddy Bear Cupcakes" and free time with the beach balls. Katie said, "This was my best birthday ever!" Guess it was a success!
