The three WELS schools in the VA,DE, MD area held their annual Art Fair and Soccer Fun Day. K-2 go to the Art Fair and then participate in some plays. Grades 3-8 go to the art fair and then play soccer together. It's a fun day to enjoy Christian fellowship. On Monday all the kids decorate a shirt with puffy paint to wear on the trip. Yesterday they drove to St. John's, DE. The girls both got blue ribbons on their art projects and were very excited! For the plays Katie got to be the angel in the fiery furnace with Shadrack, Meshack, and Abednego. Lauren got to be Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. : ) Sounds like they had a pretty fun day despite tons of rain and a long drive!
