Mia turned 2 years old today! We started the day off with "birthday waffles!" Mia said, "Oh boy!" Yes, there are three candles in the waffle. Lauren and Katie had picked one out for her, but Mia insisted on having hers in there too. She was very surprised to see Katie's "trick" candle light up again! Tonight we had Elmo cupcakes. Mia enjoyed them very much, mostly licked off all the frosting and taking a few bites of cake. : ) Grandma and Grandpa Kleist are flying out tomorrow night for the weekend. We'll have a big birthday celebration on Sunday with a few other friends.
