East Coast Butlers

On Easter Sunday Mia was enjoying chocolate eggs from her Easter basket and was into making lots of faces. Her favorites were scrunching up her nose and showing us her "gummy" smile or giving us her "silly smooch" face. She was definitely enjoying the beautiful day outside.

Last Thursday the girls and I went down to DC with my sister Jenny to see the hundreds of blossoming cherry trees surrounding the Tidal Basin. They were very pretty and we had a beautiful day to be outside.

The girls had their first bath all together the other night. Mia managed not to be drowned by her older sisters. She enjoyed splashing and playing in the water while Lauren and Katie kept busy in the tub with their games. Fun was had by all!

Amelia began standing just before her ten month birthday. This past week she started taking a few steps, usually ending in a lunge to whoever's got their hands out to her. She gets very excited to look out our front window and the front door to watch the kids playing in the neighborhood. She's "talking" and waving and pointing, plays pat-a-cake and "so big". Mia is a little ham -- always blowing raspberries, smiling, and making faces.
